October 7th Event: How to get the most of your art budget with a multi-platform brand

Today’s art directors are designing more than magazines; they’re also planning art for web stories, tablet magazines, apps and graphics for social media. Though demands on art teams are expanding, art budgets are not. Photo shoots, illustrations and infographics have to go further than ever before. This session will discuss how to plan art direction from a multi-platform brand and get the most out of your art budget.

Our speakers are Chris Bond, creative director, digital editions (Canadian Living, ELLE Canada, The Hockey News, Style at Home, etc.) at TVA Publications, and Jessica Hotson, creative director at THE KIT.

Chris and Jessica are well-versed and experienced in the world of multi-platform art direction, and they’ll offer advice, best practices and case studies on how they use their art budgets to create content for their multi-platform brands.
