Don’t miss the most important event on every magazine editor’s social calendar. The Canadian Society of Magazine Editors proudly presents its Editors’ Gala on
Wednesday June 2nd. Enjoy a dinner with your peers, celebrate editorial excellence with the 2010 Editors' Choice Award winners and take in a captivating talk from the evening’s guest speaker, editor extraordinaire Sally Armstrong.
Human rights activist, documentary filmmaker, teacher, editor and award-winning author, Armstrong has covered stories in conflict zones all over the world. From Bosnia and Somalia to Rwanda and Afghanistan, her eyewitness reports have earned her several awards, including a Gold Award from the National Magazine Awards Foundation. Armstrong was editor-in-chief of
Homemaker's magazine from 1988 to 1999. Presently, she is a contributing editor at
Maclean’s magazine.
Make sure you come early to mingle with colleagues, enjoy a cocktail on CSME and hear the sweet bossa nova sounds of the Aline Morales Band.
