The Canadian Society of Magazine editors is pleased to have provided the foundation from which the new guidelines were developed and we are very excited that the industry was able to come together in such an inclusive way to create them. They are sure to serve the industry well.

The current state of journalism in Canada, freelancing in particular, appears to be quite bleak, or so it seemed after listening to Peter Murdoch discuss the future plans of the Canada's Media Union, the CEP at the CSME luncheon held January 11 th , 2006 at Oakham House on the Ryerson University campus.
